Bury Unitarian Church

I was born and raised in Walmersley, Bury.

I was christened at Christ Church, Walmersley and (much later!) I was in the church choir!

I was married to Anne at Bank Street Chapel in 1968.

I worked for most of my working life in the textile industry as an Industrial Engineer and Logistics Manager.

I am proud of my family, 2 daughters, a granddaughter and 2 grandsons.

I enjoy practical pursuits - making and mending things!

I like to help out on the East Lancs Railway - Particularly as a carriage steward on the "Santa - Special"!

I help to build stage scenery for an opera group in Rochdale.

I enjoy holidays overseas and at home.

I enjoy visits to the theatre, concerts and most surprisingly perhaps - the ballet!

I go swimming regularly - for recreation, not exercise.
