About Our Services
We meet to worship together every Sunday morning at 11.15am.
Most of our services are led by our minister, Reverend Kate Brady McKenna, with others being led by members of the church’s Worship Support Group, other members of the congregation, and visiting ministers and lay worship leaders.
In our services we sing together (accompanied by our excellent musicians, on either organ or piano), pray together, hear music, and listen to readings and an address from the minister: our topics are wide-ranging, and you can find a list of some recent ones here.
Our sources are just as wide-ranging. We hear from the bible a lot, and we also use many other texts, both religious and secular.
You are not expected to agree with everything you will hear in our services: in fact, we love it if you don’t!
Once a month we hold an Inclusive Communion. This is a sacred sharing of bread and wine, and is for everyone, no matter their religious background or their beliefs. Sharing food and drink is something common to all cultures over all time, and it is in this spirit that we hold our Inclusive Communions.
We meet sporadically (sometimes monthly, or sometimes tied to the Pagan Quarter and Cross-Quarter days) to join in a short online meditation service. Everyone is welcome: no prior experience is necessary.
